Jack Webb’s images start with observations, which he renders photographically with a startlingly original and subtle economy of means. His unique vision—full of visual surprises and graphic paradoxes—has been commissioned by magazines including Arena, Dazed & Confused, Fader, The Gentlewoman, The Guardian newspaper, i-D, and The Journal. Webb has also created campaigns and special projects for Barneys New York, Rag & Bone, Sony and Virgin Records. Webb is also a seasoned lighting designer and DoP and especially known for his long-term collaboration with photographer and filmmaker Glen Luchford. Jack Webb’s independent photographic practice is well recognized and his work has been acquired by the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. He has published three award-winning books— Jack Webb Suspects His Parents, Procrastination and Fierce Tea. He is currently working on two forthcoming book projects.
