Charlie Engman Shoots for Middle Plane
Charlie Engman shot for Middle Plane Magazine No. 2. The issue features new fashion editorials as a response to the work of the late artist Felix Gonzales-Torres. Charlie’s story appears in its own booklet, using pages of different dimensions to reveal layered images throughout the piece. Each editorial responds to a specific artwork by the featured artist, criticising and dealing with capitalist culture, self-isolaton, loneliness, illness, and celebrations of life in light of a difficult reality.
